Mayor Buildings

Mayor can only build what is in the Mayor's build menu.

Mayor and Roads

Mayor may build and demolish roads at his free will, except when the road disconnects a player from supplies.(no supplies available at all) like leaving a build in the middle of nowhere.

Mayor Zoning

Mayor will not be allowed to zone out any player, due to the mayors attempt at fixing commerce sale prices.
Mayor will not be allowed to close off a towns zoning to specific individuals or group of players (residential reserved for players who support the town with civics or Indy is allowed. example if you want to build residential in this town you will need to supply Indy or civics)

Mayor Residential

Once a town reaches 100k population and a residential dispute arises and Support becomes involved, the following will be used as a guideline to resolve the dispute. The following is also recommended to be used by Mayor's so a dispute does not arise

Mayor only residential is against the rules of conduct. (taxes should be used to support the towns needs)

Mayor of any town is should not control more than 60% of the total levels of residential for each residential class. This includes Mayor and player as Mayor's personal account
The exception is, if this occurs due to new mayor being elected, who already has residential in the town.
You will still be held to the 60% rule. you will not be required to remove any residential but cannot add new levels until your total is under 60%.
Transcending players may force you or the mayor account to exceed these limits, you will not be required to remove any residential but cannot add new levels until the totals are under 60%.

Failure to follow these rules can without notice result in removal as mayor. Second offense will be removal as mayor and a reset of your account.

Excerpt from Rules of Conduct

1. As a mayor, you may not abuse zoning. Specifically, it is forbidden to use your position as mayor to arbitrarily zone and rezone areas of the map to derive an advantage for a player or to damage the interests of some players.
   2. You may not abuse the game so as to entirely monopolize a particular business. While there are instances where a player may be the only one operating facilities in a particular business (auto dealerships, mines), overly aggressive tactics to drive or keep out competitors may be considered contrary to the spirit of the game and the rules of conduct.
   3. You must comply with arbitration in contested issues. When two or more players or groups have conflicting positions regarding their businesses and their interactions, they are required to compromise. If an equitable compromise cannot be reached between the players prior to Starpeace Online Support's involvement, Support will mandate a binding compromise. Refusing to abide by a compromise mandated by Support will be considered a disruption. It is therefore strongly suggested that players make every attempt possible to reach a compromise that they can live with. Support should only be contacted as a last resort as the compromise they will mandate may not necessarily suit the parties to the extent that a player-devised solution would. Note: A "group" in this case is defined as a party of one or more characters that are united in a common belief or goal.
